This app and the associated smart weather station with rain gauge is a great product once you get it installed. The user manual is pretty good, but it wasn't clear to me that you need to reinsert the batteries of all accessories immediately before trying to link them to the indoor base module and that that linkage must take place while the two devices are close enough together to almost be touching. If the green LED is not flashing at the precise moment you begin pairing, the operation will fail. Very delicate process.

Slick product. Very much hoping I could make it work. But the software was incapable of finding the device, then refused to acknowledge me despite changing my password twice, then suddenly wouldn’t even allow input into the login fields. Don’t bother.

The Netatmo weather system is a good way to keep tabs on indoor & outdoor weather where you live and elsewhere. The desktop provides lots of detail and is user friendly. The app allows remote access from anywhere via your smartphone. Example: we were out of town and heard that our power was out. I knew power was restored when the App showed temperatures again. It’s pretty cool that an app that relies on electric power and WiFi comes back up automatically after power is restored and tells you the current temperature in the house.

Got this for Christmas. I like how I can see all of the data on my phone and computer. It’s super simple and easy to use. I am definitely going to recommend this to people. I will eventually upgrade and get the rain and wind gauges. 😀🌪️

Overall I’m very pleased with this rain gauge. I mounted it on my roof and occasionally lose connection. The app is well thought out and works great. Overall pleased and definitely recommend only if you have strong internet

Quite frustrating to set up. The system takes many minutes to setup, then loses the connection overnight. There was a software update which truly took half a day to download and get the units operating again. Overall I am not sure what the use case for Netatmo is - I can just look out a window, and temperature is available in so many ways. The multi-day forecast is gathered from the internet.

I have used the indoor and outdoor station for years. It works great and I intend to expand their system. Other outdoor systems I tried seldom lasted more than a year.

Best weather station on the market

I’ve had to reinstall all of my modules several times over the past few years. The base seems to ‘forget’ the modules. Also, the UI is the least user friendly I’ve seen in a while. I’m dumping these things in favor of something MUCH less expensive and WAY more user friendly product.

If you seek help inside the app, it opens a dead link in your browser. It constantly wants me to add a product, but informs me that product is already on an account. Now I can log into their website, but using the same login in this app, it informs me it's invalid. If you try to reset your password, you are led to choose "Lost password", but then are prompted to enter the old(lost) password before you can continue.

I have several stations with multiple modules for years. However, when changing batteries on older modules, some have defected and was impossible to reconnect (like dead) Had to replace with new modules. Wonder what this could be and if this is not preprogrammed so we keep buying...

I’ve had this for over a year it gives good readings so it’s worth the money if your weather buff you definitely wanna get this. It gives you more accurate weather at your location

It is like I have a professional weather station now.

Nice to follow the Whether

I bought my Netatmo a couple years ago and it is reliable but the app is overly basic. People who buy a home weather station really want to know details about the weather but this app is so underwhelming. I have been subscribing to a 3rd party app called MyAtmo that does a really great job of presenting the data in great detail but in clear understandable ways. Netatmo needs to study that app and make their app worthy of a premium hardware device

Плохо , что нельзя подключить к основному модулю еще два внутренних модуля. Всего надо 5-6 внутренних модулей к основному модулю.

I have had my netatmo weather station for a few years and love it when it works but when you have a problem the support is nonexistent. You can’t get to help on the internet and they put you in a continuous loop to NEVER get help. Hope you have better luck than me! Update Support finally got back to me and was able to repair the problem. Still not happy to have waited so long to get help. Again I have had a problem with one of my sensors. HELP IS NONEXISTENT. THEY DO NOT EVEN CARE. I HAVE WAITED OVER 3 WEEKS FOR A RESPONSE AND NOTHING. BE ADVISED, IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM YOU MIGHT AS WELL FORGET GETTING ANY HELP FROM THEM.

It was hard to set up in HomeKit and I had to buy a cheap android tablet to get it on my WiFi. After that a real champ

Just works. Never an issue. Perfect. One thing though, wish they offered a Display unit for your home so you wouldn’t have to open app. But that’s just me. The rest is just top notch honestly.

Cannot add to HomeKit. Gave up. Donated to goodwill after several hours of frustration.

Using the Netatmo app on my Home Screen gives me an update of weather on the farm at all times.

If you change wifi service or password it will never be able to connect again. It will never forget the old setup no matter hour many times you reset the unit and app. Waste of time and money.

It does everything I want, reads rain and sends to my phone

It is not possible to keep this app open to monitor the conditions measured by your sensors. When the app loads, it “freezes” the data displayed and will never update it until you manually refresh the page. This is especially bothersome when the phone is in landscape mode displaying a chart. Hey Netatmo, it’s 2024. Your app needs to be updated so that it displays measurements in realtime. Being forced to refresh to see new data is super lame.

Very good quality. Let it sync for 24 hours to get good readings. Needs a better manual.

Added the wind gauge this Christmas to my base station. After having to purchase a mounting bracket ( it should be part of the package, you must have it) the install ion was easy, mine is closer to the ground since getting to roof level was not possible. It works great and I enjoy seeing the wind direction and speed, I would recommend it.
